This statue is gorgeous! I wish some people on that other board would stop trying to convince people this is a small or Mini statue! I'm sure it is full size as far as DC Direct goes she just don't have all the prop and bulk of the other statues and that's why the price point is $99.99 and not $150.00
These are " Manufactured to Order" so if fans don't order then we may not get it at all!

I recently got this statue myself, and I do have one small quibble about it. Well, not so much about it as the packaging it came in. I can't fault the place I ordered it from, as they boxed it well when they sent it to me. Once I opened the statue's box, released the Styrofoam packaging and took the figure out, I gave it a good look-over. "Wow, this is really nice. I love this statue. Great attention to detail, excellent pose ---wait.. what's this now---?"

I found a small (very small) area on the back of her left boot where it appears the paint chipped. Either that, or the paint job was not completely done. In looking at the packaging, I noticed that the area where this part of the statue was meant to fit, the Styrofoam was much, much thinner than the rest of it. Almost wafer-thin. So, while I could have sent the figure back for an exchange, in my opinion there was no reason to expect that the flaw might not appear in the next one I got. Simply put, this is a glaring error in the design of the packaging of the statue on the part of DC Direct (or whomever is responsible). If anything, put some sort of, I don't know, cotton or gauze around that foot to cushion it better against any bumps against the wafer-thin Styrofoam behind it. The rest of the statue was protected nicely against any bumps of transport. It's just that one area where someone dropped the ball.

I still love the statue, but this bothers me. Maybe it's not an uncommon flaw in the piece. And maybe I'm being too "AR", as it were. Imperfections make it unique, yeah, that's it!

I'm sorry to hear that - I just closely checked mine and don't see any signs of wear in that area. Additionally the interior packaing looks consistent to me in that area, so maybe yours somehow got through quality control with the slight imperfection or it was packed while still "wet" which often happens.

If it bothers you, you should request a refund/replacement. The online retailers can send damaged statues back to Diamond for credit, so it's just a matter of whether you want to go through the ordeal and having to wait for the replacement to come. My JLA Cover to Cover Statue has a very small "chip" on the boot toe, but not noticeable enough where I felt I needed to exchange it, so I know what you mean...in fact, I touched it up myself using some white enamel model paint, and you'd never know it was there! That could be an option for you if you are confident in your artistic ability! ;)

Well, I learned a lesson in more careful ordering of products. This place's return policy was one of "no returns if product is opened", and the return window itself was very limited. The imperfection bothers me, yes, but I may be blowing it out of proportion. Nothing is perfect, I guess. I'll double-check the Styrofoam shell. I'm pretty certain it was significantly thinner behind that boot.

I could try to touch it up (the thought had occurred to me), but finding an exact match to the red of the boot would be tough, I imagine.

Or, I could just relax and forget about it. :D (It is on the rear side of the figure, after all) I'll probably do that. These aren't diamonds or rare crystal sculptures from the 1700s. Just somewhat more expensive than the average Mattel action figure, or whathaveyou. :)

Apologies for the late reply. Mine is number 490. :) At any rate, I like this so much that I plan to get others in the series. The price is right, and they seem to be well done (got the one of Zatana, and it's as nice as the Wonder Woman one. Well.. not quite as nice, but close!)

I just noticed that DC Direct is doing a new production run on this statue, to go on sale on December 16th. It's a beauty, so if someone didn't get one before, this is a second chance. :D
