Brian, really if you want to get this statue have your mom or dad take you to a bank and start a savings account, that way you will not be tempted to spend the money as much as if it was stashed away in your bedroom. Can anyone speak for the quality of this statue? Based solely on the pictures, I really love it. I've been thinking of getting one, but the price is a bit more than what I would usually pay for this sort of thing. I gather it is a mixed media piece, so I'm wondering if the various pieces/materials are of a generally high quality. I'd hate to purchase it, then find out a month or three down the line that parts of it are fraying or falling apart. But, again, it sure does look sweet. Also, I gather it is rather stable on its stand, or no?

This is one of my favorite statues and the quality and craftsmanship are very well done. None of the textiles are wearing on mine - it looks as perfect as the day I opened it. The figure is permanently mounted to the base so it's very sturdy and quite heavy! This is one statue that is worth investing in!
