Buying, Selling & Trading Rules

1) ExperienceTheWonder.com is not responsible for your transactions. Browse/Trade/Buy/Sell at your own risk. The only action we can take is banning a bad trader and providing his/her pertinent info to the authorities upon request.

2) Please make sure you check the Trader Feedback Lists before you do any trades/purchases.

3) Also to help the fellow traders, please post in the Trader Feedback Lists forum.

4) No “flame” threads. While selling at cost is encouraged, every seller can ask for what they think is fair. If you don’t like the price, make an offer, if they refuse, then move on.

5) Items for sell or trade can only be posted in this forum.

6) If you are posting about your eBay auctions, please delete your post once they auctions have ended.

7) If you both have a good reputation, you should both send your items at the same time. Do not wait to get yours, that is not fair to the other party (this only applies to item for item trades).

Helpful hints when trading/buying:

1) Check the Trader Feedback Lists. Also inquire if they have traded on other boards and if they have an eBay user ID. This will help verify their trading history.

2) If you are trading with a new user who has negative or zero feedback, ask them to ship first. It isn't unreasonable to expect a trader to prove themself trustworthy by sending their items first. This doesn't mean that you need to ask this in every trade - let common sense prevail.

3) Don’t be afraid to ask the seller to show a picture of the item up for trade.

4) ALWAYS use Tracking when shipping! When you ship a package through the USPS, pay the extra few cents for Delivery Confirmation. Do this for every trade. If not, disputes become your word against their word and trades that are difficult to moderate become impossible to mediate.

5) If a deal sounds too good to be true it probably is - make sure you ask all the questions you can. There are a lot of nice people out there that will give great deals, just be careful and use common sense.

This forum is a system based on good faith, and to stay that way we all have to do our part!
