The Wonder Woman Barbie don't come out untill October.

Actually they pushed it up - it will now be available at select Target stores starting as early as June! This is straight from Mattel. I am so excited!

Really! Well that is WONDERFUL news! I didn't want to wait till October anyway! This will give me time to enjoy it, and not be released so close too the new statue.

I agree! Now, we all know how Mattel can be - they SAY June and we don't see them until August. Or they start showing up on the West Coast weeks before everyone else. Anyway the official word is they will ship starting in June.

ETW is now receiving official updates/solicitations from DC Comics, DC Direct, Monogram, NECA and Mattel as they announce new DC Comics-related products so I can keep this list up to date virtually real-time with beautiful high-resolution pre-sale photos!

Oh cool. Did you find any info about NECA yet? The only thing I have seen was that little blurb that they got the DC license. And I also heard Monogram will no longer be makeing DC merchendise.

No official word about any NECA products yet, but they did reply acknowledging that I will receive information about their DC licensed products as they are announced.

I heard the same thing about Monogram, but I wanted to cover all bases just in case they renew any licenses for upcoming DC live-action films or something like that.

If the Wonder Woman Barbie is to be released in June She should be in the Summer issue of Barbie Collector so I will order her from there, They are really fast at shiping too! When I ordered my CHER dolls in December they were at my house in 3 DAYS! Barbie Collector has Super fast shiping

I'm going to do the same thing! I recently got the Spring catalog and was hoping she would be in there - haha!

We'd been squawking on our forums about the shift of a chunky little DC license, from Monogram over to NECA, and today we see the first evidence of that. Here comes the Bat...

The shift puts all DC categories previously under contract with Monogram into the hands of NECA. We've been told this includes bobble heads and gift ware, but one thing Monogram was excellent at was stretching their imaginations. Busts became "paper weights", which were essentially inexpensive busts. They also brought back the lost art of the Bust Bank, which was a rotocast bust with all the quality sculpting and paint apps of a sculpture at a fraction of the price. I for one am excited to see NECA sculptors take on a line of Bowen scaled DC paperweights!
